WHO WE ARE
Not Alone Team - Quinte is a registered non-profit organization serving The Bay of Quinte, located in Ontario who works in conjunction with other local organizations to advocate for and provide support to those who are experiencing poverty, homelessness and/or food insecurities. Our team works to provide access to resources to enhance; health, wellness and stability to all members of our community within Belleville, Ontario and surrounding areas.
We were officially recognized as a federal non-profit incorporation in 2020.
OUR MISSION
OUR VISION
There should be no obstacles when it comes to health, food or shelter.
We want to provide an avenue of self-sufficiency for those experiencing, or in danger of; homelessness, hunger, disability, mental health and /or addiction challenges.
We believe that stable housing is a basic human right. While we address the need for sufficient dignified and stable housing we are strong advocates for the availability of the reliable alternatives, such as a "warming room." We work with existing resources to find affordable housing. We also advocate for shelter when affordable housing is not available.
Not Alone Team - Quinte wants to spread our message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good
